“Everyone in the community knows that the dead man was a troublemaker because he had mental issues. Furthermore, the altercation happened a while back and Mr Rhoden had looked past the incident and moved on with his life,” he said.
Munga Honorable was first taken into police custody last Monday and released on Thursday after he was questioned in relation to the shooting incident.
The Dancehall deejay has a career that dates back to almost two decades but got his break in 2005 when he teamed up with top Dancehall producer Don Corleon. Among the hits are Flippin Rhymes, Ina Mi Arms, and Bad From me Born.
